George Washington University
Medical School Presidential Award

Ambassador Adan Rios Abrego and Senator Frist were the recipients of the George Washington University Medical School Presidential award. Senator Frist gave the commencement speech, focusing on the opportunities that the medical degree grants its recipients, admonishing the graduates to visualize themselves as a prism, and take advantage of the rays of light (opportunities) that stream forth from it. Robie was delighted to find out that Karyn was a fellow west Texan (Robie from Amarillo, Karyn from Lubbock). The high point for Randy was finally to to administered the Hippocratic Oath, a tradition that had disappeared at his Alma Mater UTHSC at San Antonio Medical School.
